We’ve heard a lot of stories about the Georgian Bay from our fathers and their friends who fish together.  For as long as we can remember, someone was headed to the area in the fall to fish.  We always heard that it’s very remote.  We weren’t sure what to expect, but wanted to see for ourselves!

I saw lots of fish and chip places, but I didn’t have any… I don’t like fish!  I saw a lighthouse that was around a lot of rocks and it was pretty small.  I also saw a lot of islands… most of them were small and had trees.  The surprising thing is that there were trees growing out of rocks!

One of my friends came to visit me.  We went swimming, played mini-golf, went hiking, played in the water after our hike, and built a little tee-pee.  We also got to go to the camp store to get ice cream drumsticks by ourselves and then went to the playground to eat them. It was fun having a friend visit me!
