Day 8 – Before heading back to Las Vegas, we had breakfast at Café Soleil… we had lunch at Café Soleil the first day in Springdale and it was so good we had to repeat! The trip back to Las Vegas was approximately 2.5 hours, and we arrived in time for a couple hours of pool time before having a great dinner at SushiSamba.
Back to Las Vegas… before heading back we took a walk to Café Soleil for breakfast. The breakfast was great and they also serve their regular menu all day other than pizza and soup. We saw a lot of people carrying out bagged lunches to take on their hikes.
The drive back to Las Vegas is approximately 2.5 hours. We stayed at the Palazzo again and drove directly there, dropped off the rental car, and checked in. We were able to secure late check out for Friday, which was really important given our flight wasn’t scheduled until 10pm.
Our travel preference is to be in nature and we aren’t big city lovers, so spending a lot of time out and about in Las Vegas isn’t our speed. We went to the pool and relaxed while Daniel swam. The Palazzo has a couple pools that are suitable for families and kids. We recommend researching this prior to planning a trip to Las Vegas with kids to ensure the hotel choice offers amenities where kids are welcome.
For dinner, we went to SushiSamba which is a mix of Japanese, Peruvian, and Brazilian food. We loved it and highly recommend it! Daniel’s meal from the kid’s menu was also great and the staff made Daniel and the other kids in the restaurant feel very welcome.
